Schade an alle sie winen Zuchthund kaufen. Schade für siese und andere die es verdient hätten!ONE HUNDRED REASONS TO ADOPT A RESCUED ANIMAL

Today is Adopt A Shelter Pet Day, so let us be the first to tell you that a rescued animal deserves just as much love as any other pet... and they’ve earned it!

Where an animal is born, or how they are treated, or the trauma and hardships they have been through are no fault of their own. Letting a rescued animal into your life and your heart gives the animal a second chance at the happy life they should have always had from the beginning and gives you that warm fuzzy feeling and sense of pride that you only get by doing something kind and selfless for someone in need.

In this image are just one hundred out of over two hundred and fifty rescued animals currently waiting in the BAWA ranks to find their forever home. If you want to do something kind for one of them, well - today is the day!

Adoption is free, and all animals adopted from BAWA will be:

✅ Healthy
✅ Fully Vaccinated
✅ Sterilised

TO ADOPT A RESCUED ANIMAL: email info@bawabali.com or DM us.

Da hat der kleine Peekaboo aber Glück gehabt nach einem ganzen Tag Verstecken ausgerechnet von JANICE gefunden zu werden 🙂 - FOster und Unterstützer gesucht für diesen zarten 3-4 Wochen alten Wurm, der sicher ausgesetzt wurde 🙁 ...PEEKABOO, WE FOUND YOU!

Meet Peekaboo - BooBoo for short - a teeny, tiny puppy around three to four weeks old, who was discovered yesterday evening, peeking out from her hiding spot under a parked car where she had apparently been all day.

We can’t blame her. It was a hot one yesterday, and she was smart to seek shade. But she had gone without food or water all day until she was coincidentally spotted by JUST the right person - BAWA’s founder, Janice, on her way home from the office.

Now, if that’s not serendipity, we don’t know what is!

BooBoo scoffed down the food and water she was given and was scooped up and taken to safety. Now, she needs a foster for the next couple of weeks while she is still so young and fragile, building up her health and immune system and getting fully vaccinated.

So, can Peekaboo come live with you?

Please get in touch if you are currently in Bali and have the time and space to nurture little Peekaboo as she grows!

TO FOSTER: email info@bawabali.com or DM us now.

If you can’t foster, please donate for her vaccines, medicines, food, and care.

TO DONATE: bawabali.com/donate-to-bawa and add a note ‘Peekaboo’ to your transfer.

Love 🙂 😍.Go BAWA GO !!! DANKE allen spendern die solche tollen Aktionen ermöglichen...FIVE THINGS WE 💓 ABOUT THIS PHOTO

Isn't it incredible the power your donations have to not simply feed some hungry bellies but to actually influence positive behaviours, change attitudes towards animals and animal care, and... quite honestly, change the future?

In this photo, you can see:

1. A hungry puppy in the front getting a good meal.
2. The family coming out to greet our team and receive food for their animals.
3. The little girl, fist in the air, especially excited to be involved.
4. The Grandma overseeing the whole operation.
5. The man in the background, heading back home with a bagful of food for his dogs.

This is everything we love about our Street Feeding Program. With your help, we are providing thousands of meals weekly and medication when needed to stray dogs, community dogs, and owned dogs whose families are out of work and have nothing left to give them.

It fills our hearts with joy and satisfaction to see everyone becoming active and engaged in the care and welfare of their own animals and seeing their community animals in a different light - with compassion and empathy.

Please support us to keep this life-saving service running for hungry animals island-wide.

💓 Feed a dog for a week: $7
💓 Donate a bag of dog food: $30
💓 Provide 100 meals: $50
💓 Treat 25 emaciated dogs for parasites: $100

YOUR DONATIONS KEEP DOGS ALIVE: bawabali.com/donate-to-bawa and add a note ‘street feeding’ to your transfer.

Freedom from Discomfort:

An appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.

Like us, animals are entitled to some creature comforts. They should always have access to a designated place to rest and sleep. This means soft bedding, appropriate temperatures, noise levels, and access to natural light. If the animal is outside, it should always have access to shelter from intense sun and rain.

When it comes to our own pets, we believe this should also include sharing our homes and living spaces - and it certainly DOESN'T include being confined to a cage or tethered to one place.

The Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare are an internationally accepted set of standards that we, as responsible, loving pet owners, must follow to ensure that our animal's physical, psychological, and emotional needs are met.

💡 April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Throughout this month, we will be sharing information about the five freedoms of animal welfare, and you can do your part to help stop animal cruelty by following, sharing, and teaching others about this set of five simple rules.

THE FATE OF OUR SPECIES TOMORROW HANGS ON HOW WE TREAT OTHER SPECIES TODAY

#BREAKINGNEWS: Wildlife farms have been implicated as a "very likely" source of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A recently released report on the World Health Organization's latest investigation into the origins of COVID-19 points to wildlife farms as the most likely source of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The investigation, which began in January, also explicitly dismissed speculations that the virus could have been leaked from a lab as "extremely unlikely".

World Health Organization (WHO) concluded that while further investigations are still needed, initial findings suggest that it is likely the SARS-Cov-2 virus had first started circulating in bats, a common host for viruses, which then infected another as yet unidentified species of animal being kept and bred on a high-density wildlife farm. From here, the virus could spread easily and quickly amongst the animals, which were then shipped directly into the centre of human society - a marketplace - where the virus began to infect the human population.

Today, on World Health Day, these findings serve as a timely and clear reminder to us as humans that the health of our species is closely tied to the health of the environment and of the animals and that the more we meddle with nature, the more we risk exposing ourselves to deadly animal-borne diseases and threatening public health and biosecurity.

Freedom from Hunger and Thirst:

Ready access to fresh water and a diet that maintains full health and vigour.

All animals should be provided with a diet and feeding regime that not only keeps their bellies full but meets nutritional requirements to keep their bodies fit and healthy. Animals should also be provided sufficient fresh, clean water and appropriate, sanitary vessels from which to eat and drink to avoid illness.

The five freedoms of animal welfare are an internationally accepted set of standards that we, as responsible, loving pet owners, must follow to ensure that our animal's physical, psychological, and emotional needs are met.
